How to Use the DV Web Editor
The Web Business Data Shop showed you explicitly published data sets. The DV Web Editor allows you to dive deeper into the data model behind those data sets, allowing you to browse schemas and data sources, as well as tables and views. You can open it by clicking the “Editor” link on the main toolbar.

By clicking on a data set () you can generate a SELECT statement to preview the data directly in the DV Web Editor. For advanced queries, please check the “Samples” and “Functions” tabs for more details. The “Download CSV” button loads the complete contents of the data sets into a CSV file. Depending on your permissions, you might also see an option to edit the definition of a data set.
With the metadata search, you can query the complete metadata repository provided by the DV LDW, including descriptions, which can be a handy addition to the search functionality of your regular frontend tool.
